Josh has extensive experience in managing the sale of commercial, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties, including a 577-unit affordable housing portfolio. He has overseen multimillion-dollar tenant improvement projects, managed environmental remediation efforts, administered a $65 million construction loan portfolio.
His work also includes the orderly wind-down and liquidation of various businesses, such as a 120-unit skilled nursing facility, a lumberyard, and a structural steel manufacturer. As a court-appointed receiver, he managed the complex liquidation of a student transportation services company in the middle of the school year, ensuring minimal disruption. He has been instrumental in Lighthouse’s role as Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO) for a 380-unit apartment development, overseeing financial and operational strategies to complete construction, stabilize the project and facilitate the marketing of the asset.
Leveraging strong data analytics skills, he calculated restitution payments for over 5,000 students in the Minnesota School of Business bankruptcy case. His identification of fraudulent transfers in a North Dakota trial played a key role in expert witness testimony, contributing to the prosecution’s successful corporate veil-piercing and a $21 million judgment.
Josh is a graduate of St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN where he earned his BA in Economics and History. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time at the lake with family and friends. Josh is an avid golfer and a passionate outdoorsman who loves to get out bird hunting with his Labrador retriever any time he can.
