Josh’s expertise spans numerous industries including real estate, construction, manufacturing, retail, and healthcare. His lending background provides a valuable perspective to clients involved in loan workouts, debt restructuring, and recapitalizations.
Josh’s experience includes the sale of commercial, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties, including a 577-unit affordable multi-family housing portfolio. He has overseen multimillion dollar tenant improvement projects, managed and resolved environmental remediation issues, and management of a $65MM construction loan portfolio.
Josh has also managed the orderly wind down and liquidation of a 120-unit skilled nursing facility, a lumberyard, a structural steel manufacturer, and various other companies. Josh utilized his strong data analysis skills to calculate restitution payments for over 5,000 students in the Minnesota School of Business bankruptcy case. His identification of fraudulent transfers in support of expert witness testimony in a North Dakota trial was instrumental in the prosecution’s successful piercing of a corporate veil and attainment of a $21 million judgement.
Josh is a graduate of St. John’s University in Collegeville, MN where he earned his BA in Economics and History. When he is not at work you can find Josh at the lake where he enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. Josh is an avid golfer spending much of his free time at Stillwater Country Club during the warm weather months. Josh is also a passionate outdoorsman and loves to get out bird hunting or fishing any time he can.
