Prior to joining Lighthouse Management Group, Murthy worked as a consultant at Innova Solutions where he helped various clients migrate their on-premise equipment and operations to the cloud, manage their cloud infrastructure, and integrate technologies acquired via corporate acquisitions.  He has previously managed multiple software products over their complete lifecycle, spanning new product innovation, market analysis, go-to-market strategy, and product sunset strategy. He has served as a catalyst for strategic, operational, and technological transformation at various companies, helping them adopt an agile mindset and a brand product strategy, delivering Software as a Service.

While at Fair Isaac Corporation, he led the team that launched the pioneering FICO Expansion Score, incorporating non-traditional credit data sources, to help financial institutions make credit decisions involving credit-underserved populations. Also at Fair Isaac Corporation, he delivered the Small Business Account Management solution, which combined business credit data with the owners’ personal credit data to provide an overall credit score that enabled better trade credit decisions by lenders. At Assessment Systems Inc, he helped rearchitect the FastTest platform and migrate it from a local data center to the cloud, resulting not only in significant cost savings, but also improved performance, scalability, and redundancy.

Murthy holds a bachelor of technology in computer science from the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad, India, as well as an MS in computer science and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. Murthy enjoys reading, running, camping, and traveling whenever he can find time.
